Carhartt's official archives note that Wylie Carhartt first introduced the Super Dux and Super Fab hunting lines in 1930. However, because the United States was entering the worst years of the Great Depression, consumer demand for specialised luxury hobby clothing plummeted.

In 1956, the first redesign of the comeback. It introduced the cleaner, stylised two-tone blue flying mallard. It retains ”Hamilton Carhartt Co.“ and the old ”Detroit 16“ postal code layout.

A rare piece of Carhartt hunting history with plenty of original character.
